Second single released by UK outfit Rescue Co. No. 1, a studio project by Chris Arnold, David Martin and Geoff Morrow who released other records as Butterscotch and Go Go Thunder.
The verse of the song is the same as Sisters' glam stomper "Kick Your Boots Off", which came out two years later. UK issue produced by Arnold, Martin, Morrow.

Born in England but achieving success in Australia, Mulry released several OzRock classics, mainly on the Albert label, before he died in 2001. Even though it's not up to the same standard, "Daughter Of Thunder And Lightning" reminds me of the Hamlett's "Vampire Man". An amazing freak/glam rock number penned, as written on the label, by Parkinson - who should be the same person who wrote the incredible Boneshaker's "Sweetness" and the a side of the beautiful P.A.T.C.H.'s "Where Are You Now", already on Proudfoot Sound blog. Here's another British obscure single. "Fast Train" is a glam/boogie number that reminds me of Blackfoot Sue, while the b side is a rural hard rockin' piece with catchy guitar riffs. Both songs where produced and written by John Bromley, a Polydor songwriter who also released a bunch of singles and one LP by the end of the 60s and Martin Rushent, better known as the producer of bands such as 999, The Stranglers, Buzzcocks and many others. Great single by obscure US outfit Jett Black.
I couldn't find any info about this band, apart from a Canadian 80's AOR band with the same name, but I don't think it's the same group.
However, both tracks on this single are a tough combination of hard rock, glam and punk. "Mademoiselle" was written in 1976 but the single was released one year later. US issue produced by Jett Black & Michael Bruce.

A bubbleglam stomper b side from the obscure Yellow Cat, which betrays an Equals influence.
Sound and vocals are strikingly similar to another Dutch nederglam piece called "Do It" by Black Fire. In fact, Van Olm is behind both singles as writer and producer. Probably both bands were his studio creations. Dutch Issue.
